Bernard Bragg visited The Haunted Hotel

BB signs “Ghost”

By Bug

Estes Park, Colorado is known for the Stanley Hotel, named as one of the top ten haunted hotels in the United States, inspiring Stephen King to write his famous Novel, “The Shining”. The hotel has many ghost stories but no of which have been violent so it seems that the ghostly residents are just residents. Many staff and guests of that hotel reported on hearing the piano in the Ballroom being played, when they investigated and found no one at the piano or anywhere in the Ballroom. On the fourth floor, many visitors may hear the squeals of children playing echoing down the hallway.

Bernard Bragg and his friends went to Stanley Hotel for lunch. He is nationally known as a performer, playwright, writer, and educator. He has done many different things such as being a director/ playwright, an artist, a poet, and a writer. He is known as “BB”.

We were aware that hotel is one of the most famous ghost stories of all time. We decided to take a tour. We stopped by the room #217, the same room that Stephen King stayed in and reported a maid’s ghost in it. BB told a short story about the maid’s ghost. See video below.

Visitors can take a ghost tour of the Stanley Hotel where they will learn about the history and haunting of the hotel. If you are interested in staying at the hotel in Estes Park or getting spooked, come and stop by.
