Oh gosh! Every time I see Gary’s vlog, he makes me sick. He likes to talk about his personal problem or sex life. I don’t need to know his life. He thinks he is saving the world with his creepy Alien stuff. My two boys loved his vlog until he talked about his sex life. I lost my respect. Thank you for bringing this up. I hope he learns to show his respect for others.

Anyway, I do respect and allow my Deaf husband who wants to watch football games because I want him to ENJOY his life and LIFE IS TOO SHORT !!!! I know that my Deaf husband do feel so much pressures facing alot of oppressive from his work.. He needs to get out and enjoy his life!!! I certainly proud of him because he did worked so hard at work and home… Boy!!! Well I do appreciated my Deaf husband do allow me to go out to enjoy my life once in a while…

Second, I am female and love to watch football games on tv or at staduim either on every saturday and sunday, sometimes monday. If I am married, I would join with my husband to watch the football games and have fun and cheerful with my husband. I would have no complaining about this. I need a ENJOYABLE my day!!!!!!!!!! than having a bad day! Yes, it is various of marriage couple’s type which are not same as we are.

I am not defending Gary, but some of you who commented rude labels towards Gay people also need to grow up! Gay bashing *SO* 20 years ago!
Doesn’t everyone find it strange that deaf gay bloggers & vloggers tend to be drama queens by bringing trouble onto themselves as well as the deaf community in general? Please be aware that this is not gay bashing. But they should not be allowed to create so many problems that would affect the deaf community! Even if gays state that they are happy with their sexuality, why would they be so depressed when they enjoy more gay rights than before?

Obviously, homosexuality would only provide them a great deal of sadness & unfulfillment! Let the deaf community see the light before deaf gays end up harming the deaf culture on a large scale. Ahh, I was displeased when Gary attacked me. FYI, I did not ask him anything. You know what s odd about this? Few hours earlier before he posted that slanderous vlog, he paged me and spoke about blogsite and few things, I responded back with few advices. Then boom, he attacked me savagely.
Later, I had a vp talk with Gary. He said that in order to get people to read his new blogsite, he needs to put my name on his title and bash me. This way, he can gain some hits.

I personally do not know Gary Brooks,, but from his vlogs,, I found him angry and quite disturbed.. Seems like if any thing goes wrong it sets him off.. and starts spewing all kinds of negativity in his vlogs,, it got so bad I just stopped watching them period, cos those vlogs were going NOWHERE..I have loads of gay people as friends and I love them all individually, and yea ok some are drama queens some worse than others, whereas Gary falls in that category the Prima Donna of all Drama Queens..

I have known many deaf gay men where I would witness a lot of unhappiness, anger & disappointments. Many of them have unresolved issues that would plague them since childhood. Often, it is related to their homosexuality but they choose to do nothing to seek professional or spiritual help.
It appears that you are the only deaf gay vlogger who maintains a positive attitude & doesn’t create turmoil like other deaf gay blogger/vlogger. I urge you to keep the same positive, cheerful tone in your future vlogs! Be a good example for other bloggers/vloggers especially gay ones to follow. They can learn from you!

I can’t stand watching Gary’s video. He turned my Deaf parents off. My friends are actors. They are pissed off at Gary for a long time. I stopped watching his video since July. My friend told me that his classmates and he watched Gary in their psychology class. I was embrassed because the people would think that we are werido Deafies. Sad to say, many gay people have a lot of childhood trauma that would continue to plague them into adulthood. So instead of developing well in terms of emotions being mature, they would hold onto their old childish emotions. Basically, they are boys emotionally in adult male bodies. By identifying as gay, their well-being mentally would be placed on a standstill because their crucial issues would continue to overshadow them. That is why many people who left homosexuality, would finally resolve their issues & be able to live more fully & happily afterward. Of course, it would mean abandoning their old gay life which would only serve as prison or should I say bondage!
I hope to see more resources available in the near future to help deaf people leave homosexuality successfully. So they can feel more whole. Of course, the gay community would disapprove this but people have the right to decide their course of life if they choose to leave the gay lifestyle!

Congrats to you all because of all horrible comments, I might have to fold seekgeo.com soon when I come to this because basically I’m sick of this crap. Being the bad person just because I’m gay so people feel the need to take out on me just cuz of other gay b/vloggers the way they act.
I also received 4 e-mails so far telling me that they would like to donate to seekgeo.com but they can’t simply because I’m gay and they were worried that I’m like other person who kept asking for money assuming I’d be like that to beg for money. They were afraid that once they donate, I will email them or IM them over and over for more money but I’m NOT that kind of person. Stop this non-sense… Are all deaf people alike? NO!
So therefore not all gays are alike, either!

You seem to be jumping to conclusions. Please correct me if I am wrong. You simply can’t blame straight people about not donating to your vlog just because you are gay. You should take into consideration about Ridor & Gary Brooks who already have made it difficult for other deaf gay vloggers/bloggers to get donations due to their issues. They have done a great deal of embarrassment for themselves, therefore, reflecting on other deaf gays. I am sorry that you are upset but the breaking point appears to be developing here.
Come to think of it, it is no secret that many deaf gays can’t stand each other. Seems to me that there is no real unity in the deaf gay community due to backstabbing, gossip, hatred & jealousy! Making everyone wonder why many deaf gays don’t make efforts to make amends by trying to get along much better, it would spill into the deaf community by causing chaos to the point where deaf people would not want to get along w/ each other! So please don’t play the blame game because it would not get no one anywhere!

After viewing your vlog and read all these posts, I am SICK of those who are bias gay people. I am gay and am proud of it. I am deaf. I live with my hearing partner for nearly 11 years. I can’t believe some of you think gay people have more serious problems than straight people. That’s a big LAUGH. Straight people do have serious problem. Gay and Straight people don’t make much difference, i.e., communication problems, budget problems, health problems, etc. For those of who dislike gay people, I think you ought to be exposed and involved with gay community to help you understand better.
As for Gary Brooks, I think he was just trying to tell us that we can share our experiences whether it is gay marriage, deaf community, how they treat deaf gay people, and the list goes on. I think Gary does not have bipolar at all. He was just upset and wanted to vent his anger. Remember we’re human beings. We are not perfect.
SeekGeo is a good friend of mine. He’s awesome person. He has positive attitude. I really like him for being so positive for others. That is what we need to do that. I am a catholic myself, and I believe in God and I believe the world has gone chaos and rules for this rules for that… which I find utterly ridiculous. There are over 30 different religions in this world, so who is right and who is wrong?

With Gays and Lesbians, I think they are the cure to reduce the world population as well!!! I say more to Gays and Lesbians! I for one will not have kids! Well I do not know why “gay and lesbian” issues is a big factor in this blog board. I for one think Gary Brooks is a troublemaker and cry baby. He cannot see the difference in fantasy world and real world. His vlogs bore me to tears with those LONG 8 min. vlogs while he keeps flipping his god awful hair of his thinking he’s a woman.
2ndly – Geo has the right to speak and express his thoughts. He was simply saying that stereotyping gays is a big issue on how gays are always treated cuz of people like CA or others who are against gays or say it’s SICK or whatever. I personally do not care what people’s sexual preference are or their religions are. ALL I CARE ABOUT IS RESPECTING YOUR WORLD!!!!! You respect others and your planet, you respecting God! Most of you are all misunderstanding each other about what each of you all meant about gays and lesbians. geez. It is not gays that are looking for drama! it’s the DEAF PEOPLE! I see Great things and great vlogs that deaf people are not supporting but I see deaf people supporting blogs that are worthless like Ridor’s blogs or Gary Brooks’ vlogs… honestly!! Deaf community really do not know how to support their own culture. I have seen blogs and vlogs talking about deaf events and supports and no one bothers to go or check it out while Gary Brooks bitching gets more hits than what could really matter in our world…
Geo’s vlogs and blogs is one example of good things. Why? because he does not focus on negative things and accusing other deafs of such things like Ridor and Gary Brooks have! His site is a place for us all to enjoy each other’s company and chat and enjoy without feeling the pressure that deaf culture is dying or falling apart. Those who love trouble and seek trouble are the reason why we are a dying culture and never taken seriously as a deaf person.

I am sorry that you are being misled by myths! I am not going to waste my energy arguing with you. You are wrong…I am not prejudiced against gays. Just want to help them find the right path in their life, that is all! Once again, you were wrong in assuming that I was preaching which was not the case. For the idiots who do not read the DeafRead guidelines and policies, PLEASE note that DeafRead does not condone personal attacks against other bloggers or vloggers. So, it makes sense that this post went into DeafRead Extra instead of on the front page. Two of Gary’s vlogs were removed from DeafRead’s main page and moved to the Extra. Why? Because those 2 vlogs were attacks against Ridor and Mosdeux.

Of course, there are many gays with wonderful qualities that would put straight people to shame! I believe if gays accept God despite their flaws & make amends to improve themselves, God would bless them richly. Everyone is accountable to God no matter who they are. If I fool around with women outside of marriage, I would expect to receive the wrath of God for not being true to Him when I already know the truth. Every one of us would want to repent big-time in order to receive the grace of God! According to the Bible, sexual immorality is wrong no matter if it is heterosexual or homosexual. But the world has been seduced by the culture in thinking sex is okay by sleeping with anyone you may find to feel good. Misleading message!
I feel sorry for gays in many ways. They would be judged & condemned harshly by churches & Christians in the past. So gays have to deal with being rejected & broken in spirits. Not only that but the gay culture would give them the crappy treatment as well. Do you think they would be happy with their gay identity when the secular world tells them it is perfectly fine? Then why would they be so unhappy & take big risks with their life w/ self-destruction methods? I can go on but I urge you to check the Google search about how people leave homosexuality. That way, you can form your opinions & expand your knowledge! I have personally met some people who used to be gay. Was told that they truly feel free now from that gay lifestyle! Of course, many gays would not agree with this statement!
In the meantime, let’s pray for Gary Brooks to do better in his life. He appears to have this constant need of being the center of attention. When he doesn’t get that, he would get crushed & lash out at anyone who would listen. However, he should not use Deafread to spit out his frustrations that would have nothing to do with deafness. I am sorry he didn’t get the money to produce movies. But life is full of surprises & failures. Failures would make us strive to do better. Let’s hope that Gary will learn to mature by making his vlogs more meaningful rather than diving into foolishness!

He’s nothing but a hypocrite and a superficial man who will only talk to people who already made a name of themselves like Wayne Betts and Chad Murphy while he ignored other filmmakers who haven’t made a name for themselves! I saw a comment on Gary Brooks page where Tayler is now being attacked for playing favorites cuz he did not put Gary’s vlog on the front page. I honestly believe Tayler is right for not to do so because attacking someone for no particular reason and no evidence to back up the argument which proves Gary never did and also proves Gary is just a man who speaks whatever he ASSUME is the fact!

You got lot of negative/positive comments and you told everybody in the world that you are an actor. So the vlog means nothing? but try to get people involved and discuss in negative area. You said that you were sorry as you heard the rumor or misunderstand the conversation. Wait a minute, I thought you were an actor and these videos were fake? But it turned in reality?
