Is BigFoot Deaf and Real?

Fookem and Bug collected the stories about the deaf people’s experience in sighting of BigFoot. We are not holding the responsibility for the stories. It is up to you to believe it or not. We feel this stories should be shared in the Deaf Community because we often heard the hearing people’s experiences. So let’s meet those Deaf people’s stories. Enjoy.

Dear Fookem and Bug, Hi my name is Jennifer. I was a prepartory student at Gallaudet’s Northwest Campus in 1986. I saw a big hairy man walking through the woods behind my dorm. I believe it was a big foot. I told my boyfriend (he is my husband now) to check out of the window. He saw him too. He freaked out and ran to the security office. They laughed and said ” you thought it was a big foot. we think it is a lost animal from the National Zoo. We got a call from the zoo a month ago. They said it was a 4 feet monkey digging a hole and escaped to the woods. Maybe it was a monkey wandering.” I swear it was a big foot. I know what a monkey looked like. My boyfriend and I disagreed with them. The big foot was about 7 feet tall. Next day we went to the woods and looked for the footprint. Found 3 footprints on the mud near the trail. My boyfriend’s shoe’s size was 9 and half. The big foot’s foot’s size was about 15. No kidding. Do you know anything? – Jen

But Native Americans are by no means the only people to report experiences in which sasquatches appear to be trying to communicate. A man named Alexander Katayev told an experience he had in Russia in August 1974, where he witnessed the two large hairy creatures eating together. He reported that one appeared male, and other female, and that they seemed to speak to one another in voices that reminded him of how deaf people sound when speaking…. Dear Bug and Fookem, How are you? I am fine. I was about 17 years old. I saw a white bigfoot at my grandmother’s house in Iowa. I’ve heard most big foots live in the woods but why are they on my grandfather’s farmland? I went to school and asked my deaf friend about the big foot. They called me a liar. Oh well. Peter

Hey Fokem and Bug, my friends told me you look for a story about bigfoot. I saw a huge man with no shoes walking beside the road in Oregon last 5 years ago. He hurried to enter the woods. At first I thought it was a bear until I passed and saw his hands on the bark. I thought it was strange. I told my husband about it. He said he heard about that area where people saw a bigfoot walking beside. Creepy freak! Sorry no picture. I hope I will use my sidekick to take a picture of bigfoot when I see one. Is Bigfoot DEAF?

Here is an article: An Early Georgia Monster. In the fore part of August, 1812, a party of hunters found in a mountainous region now known as Rabun county, Ga., a being nearly eight feet high covered with bluish hair and having a human face adorned with immense ears resembling those of an ass. The creature was stonedeaf and on that account seemed wholly unconscious of the approach of the men. This monster seems, from old accounts, to have been seen upon several occasions during the next four years. In 1816 a number of adventurers from Virginia, most of them surveyors working up the unexplored portions of Georgia and the Carolinas, formed themselves into a party for the express purpose of capturing the uncanny being if possible. They scoured the hills and valleys for several days and at last returned unsuccessful to the starting point. The many tales told of this extraordinary being seem to have created quite a stir all along the Atlantic coast.
