A GIRL mugger aged just FIVE was being hunted last night after attacking and robbing a 95-year-old man in his own home.
The child and two teenage accomplices followed deaf Edward Wigura to his flat from a bus stop.

He told how the older girls shoved him to the ground and held him down as the blonde five-year-old stole £60 from his pockets in Chiswick, West London.

The gang then ran off laughing, leaving their terrified victim on his bedroom floor. Paramedics treated the pensioner for cuts and bruises.

Cops are hunting the girl and her pals, aged between 17 and 19.

One source said: “The man was shaken, but amazingly resilient for his age. He said the young girl actively took part and went through his stuff as he was held.

“What hope is there for the youth in this country when a girl of five can help rob a frail, elderly man in his home?

“It’s shocking to think teenagers can have no compunction about encouraging a child to steal from someone so old.”

Polish Edward, who lives alone, told cops the three girls began tailing him as he got off a bus around 8pm on Tuesday.

They followed him to his apartment block, pretending they lived there. But when he opened the front door, they forced their way inside.

Edward said he was then pinned down while the tot rifled through his clothes and took his pension, bus pass and keys.

Police confirmed they were hunting the three girls. A spokesman said: “It’s a shocking incident.”
