February 4, 2007

WOW! The big congratulations go to the state of Indiana. Colts won! That’s a good news for the fans of Colts. I am one of them too. However my friend Fookem is not happy. Hee hee. He was rooting for the Bears. I reminded him not to feed the Bears but he refused listening to me. *Sighs* The game was a good one. It was touching that Super Bowl held a moment of silence shortly before Sunday’s Super Bowl to honor the 20 central Florida residents who died few days ago after a series of tornadoes hit the area. There are many homeless victims including Deaf lady, Karen Madigan . Our thoughts are with them. Immediately after the moment of silence, Billy Joel and Marlee Matlin performed the national anthem, punctuated by a flyover from a group of Air Force fighter jets. Also, I found a comment from the Roar Report , a reporter was telling that he saw a deaf actress (Marlee Martlin) signing there. Here’s what he wrote:  (6:18) I’m’ not really a Billy Joel guy, but that was a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Although I must admit, the highlight for me was the girl who was on the field doing the sign language for the lyrics. It was that deaf actress who plays the tennis lineswoman that Jerry went out with in that episode of Seinfeld. (http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=93&p=2&c=615800)

Hope all of you enjoyed watching the game. Feel free to leave a comment in here.

Whoa!! (Hands Waving) Indy Colts Won!!! I am from Indiana. They sure worked very hard for 4 yrs. They earned big paidoff!! Good Job for Marlene signed for Deaf people who went to Super Bowl. I wish they set up cam so we can watch her signed on the bottom of TV whole time than watch C.C. Only C.C. during gametime. Is there anyone would offer to chairperson of SuperBowl to set up the idea for next SuperBowl??
