Brittney Payton, the daughter of famous running back of Chicago Bears Walter Payton, tried out for Chicago Force. Chicago Force is Women’s Professional Tackle Football under IWFL (Independent Women Football League). They were 2008 Eastern Conference Champions but lost in the championship game to Dallas Diamonds. You can view the video of her trying out below.

My opinion of her trying out is a joke! She just does that for the publicity reason as she worked for Mouthpiecesports.com. As you can see her movements are not that excellent and I think it really wastes her time of participate and waste Chicago Force’s time too. I am not going to elaborate it because her actions speak louder than anything else. If you disagree with me, that’s fine with me as it is your opinion :)

I think we should support this!! This is not a joke, football is a sport anyone can enjoy! Yes it is a tough sport but not too tough for women. I, myself, played for Wisconsin Warriors who played against Chicago Force during our season last year. Wisconsin Warriors is also a team under IWFL. I give anyone credit for trying out for an active sports and it is not wasting anyone’s time. It’s about living your life and grabbing every opportunity to do what you want to do when you once thought you couldn’t. Let Chicago Force and IWFL decide if she makes the roster cut or not. Thank you very much for your support!

Having worked with Brittney for several years, I can tell you that if she really wants to do something, she’s gonna do it. I realize this was written several years ago, and I have the benefit of hindsight here, but you’re way off base, and obvi have never met Ms. Payton. She is dedicated to whatever task she takes up, a hard worker, and always concerned with improving, with getting better. Besides, by her own admission, she has big hands, which would make her a natural for receiver; and she’s a leader, which puts her in contention for QB. I would caution you not to rush to judgement so quickly without getting to know Britt first.
