In 2002 I lost my beloved hearing dog Fancy after a drunken driver crashed into my vehicle. I was injuried at the site where I held her close to my chest while she was struggling to catch her last breathe. My spirit was broken. A few days later I buried her at Precious Pet Cemetery not far from where I live. Since then it started with strange feeling around the familar feeling (“sound”) of her nose touching my shoulder while I was sleeping. It would take a second for me to realize, to remind myself, that she was dead. Was my mind playing tricks on me? Was I feeling something else, perhaps squeaks in the bed that my mind interpreted as dog sounds because I was so used to feeling her. Did I ever she her in ghost? No.
Two or three year ago my mother came from another state to visit me. She said that it started with strange noises at night …the familiar sound of Fancy’s whimpers and barks in the empty room. My mother felt the dog licking her hand while she slept.
When thinking of ghosts, we usually evision people, but what about animals? Are they any different from us? Who knows?

Almost no one knows this place. It becomes almost an unforgotten cemetery in the small town of Laporte, Colorado not far from where I live.
Before 1990’s many local people did not even know it existed for many years, there were no burials and few visitors except for deer, rabbits, badgers, bears, and skunks. No one ever paid for burial space. Nobody is responsible for its care. “But who are the people under all the unmarked stones and the sunken places with no stones at all?,” Author Rose L. Brinks wondered.
In 1987 Rose wrote two books about it after she researched everyone interred there. What did it make her write about the cemetery? Because she lives on the farm for some years near the weedy old cemetery along Bingham Hill Road. It was no personal interest to her except that it was visble from her kitchen window. She noticed the few names on headstone. She decided to researched the history of her farm. The cemetery was part of the original farm. Her interest grew so she decided to research more and researched the stories of those who lived and were buried there motivated her to write a book, “History of the Bingham Hill Cemetery Laporte & Bellvue, Colorado”. She told the ghost author of Northern Colorado Ghost Stories that she led the guests over to the cemetery to reveal her adventures while researching the cemetery. A guy with his wife were there and noticed a woman dressed in a very fine leather dress, walked across an area in front of the man. He said that she had weathered skin as though she had spent a lot of time outdoors. The ghost walked very gracefully. She had dark hair pulled back and wore no jewelry. She was very slender. She looked real until she disappered into the air. Was it a female ghost? Possibility.
Every time I drive by the cemetery. The local ghost stories keep haunting me. I was told that if you go there at night, one of the ghosts would chase after you. Also, you can feel the unseen cold hands touching you and hear the babies crying. My Deaf friends and I made the film there in the cold October evening. One of my friends fell down in the front of me and got hurt little bit. Why did it happen? Did the ghost push her? Who knows?

Cross lies on the ground
There was a rumor that ghost sits in this chair.

The Loveland Feed Co. 343 Railroad North

East side of the old Loveland Feed

Spirits still wait in the shadows

was there someone behind the window?
Ghost’s kitty pets
This is a beautiful mill. I have no idea when it was built. It is located in Loveland, Colorado. This building was destroyed by fire in 1882. and has been rebuilt in 1891. I heard there are a lot of ghost activities. My friend and I decided to explore around. I happened to peek through one of the broken windows. The cold air was touching my face. The weather was really warm in the evening. I felt that someone was just backing away from the window and trying not to be seen. I wished I brought my carema with me. We left.
I decided to return to that place a month later because I wanted to take some pictures. While clicking…. I noticed a lot of cats were wandering around. It was more likely they live there or are they ghost’s pets? I found an interesting book about that place. It was said that some people are able to see a ghostly someone feeding thirty or forty stray cats. Good thing is that I took some pictures of cats. Feel free to look at it ….isn’t it spooky?

They flew to Florida last weekend for the biggest Deaf Cruise in the world. They joined over 4,000 Deaf people including John Maurcere, Bernard Bragg, Keith Wann, CJ Jones and many well known people. Everyone were happy to be on the special ship where they eat, drink, and be merry. They saw a few Deaf vloggers and bloggers from DeafRead.Presently they are sailing to Cozumel, Mexico; Georgetown, Grand Cayman Island, Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Labadee, Hispaniola. There was a rumor that water was rough but there is no report coming in from FB team.Right now the network out there is not strong so I will sit by and wait for more FB news. Or should I say that Fookem, JFLmad, and Jimactor are having so much fun at the sea so am I forgotten? I will post some more videos once I get from them and share with you. The guy in this video is JFLMad. Enjoy.

In 1893 there was an old witch lived in the woods behind Gallaudet University. She lived by herself and all the Deaf students around used to be in dread of her. They said she was haunted. No one knew how long she lived, for she never left her home in the day but they said she used to go out through the fields near tower clock at night. She hated all Deafies because she was not able to sign very well. If a Deaf person walked by, with her sharp knife she cut off a hand of the person and he or she began to cry pitifully. No one was able to hear the Deaf victim’s cries because everyone was Deaf.
Nearly every week some of the sign language book would be gone as she seemed to hope that Deaf world would die slowly.
A deaf man name of James, said he would know if she that was taking the sign language books. So he watched all night at the woods, and about twelve o’clock he saw an old lady come out of the house. The very minute she saw James, away would she across the field, but James fired, and struck it in the shoulder.
The next morning tracks of blood was seen along the road to the cabin. What did James do, but call to the cabin, and the door was barred from inside. But he shoved in the window, and sure enough, there was the old dame, and all her shoulder wrapped up in calico. She left the place shortly after, for she knew she was found out, and no one ever missed sign language books after. James walked throughout the cabin and found many hands of deaf victims in the hot pot. He collected them and brought to Gallaudet University and unwrapped the severed hands from the cloths and held it out buried around the Tower Clock.
Since then nothing unusual has happened at Gallaudet University.

Jeffrey Andrews
September 1964-October 2007
If you’re diabetic, you’re six or seven times more likely to have a heart attack, and to die of it, than someone who doesn’t have the disease. My old Deaf classmate from high school passed away from it on October 22, 2007. A news came to my attention from a friend of mine who forwarded Jeffrey’s parents announcement. They requested me to post it on FB for anyone who knew Jeffrey Andrew. Here’s a memo:
Many wondered how Jeffrey died. As everyone knows, Jeffrey was a Diabetic on Insulin. He had several instances in the past 6 months where he bottomed out or had a low blood sugar problem. He passed out. But he passed out outside his apartment and neighbors and all called an ambulance and he went to the hospital
and they saved him and he went back home. But Jeffrey lived alone. And
this last time he had a low blood sugar problem, he tried to help himself by getting apple juice and drinking it to make his blood sugars higher. But he didn’t make it. He passed out inside his home on the kitchen floor. And he went into a Diabetic Coma and died. When his adoptive parents found Jeff, his body was dead and on the kitchen floor. He still had the apple juice container in his hand. The County Coroner estimated he was dead for about 5 days. We all love Jeffrey and will miss him. We wanted to let you know when Jeffrey’s Memorial Service will be.
Jeffrey Andrews Memorial Services
Jeff will be cremated and buried with his deceased Grandmother in her grave. Jeffrey’s Memorial Services will be this Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11am. Services will be held at:
Bell Road Baptist Church
707 Bell Road Auburn
California, 95602
Church Hearing Phone: (Use Calif Relay) 530-885-5212
Jeff’s adoptive parent’s phone and Fax: 530-268-3018. If you have more questions, you can also call Mark on Video Phone/Fax/TTD at 530-889-8673
Driving Directions: Coming from Downtown Auburn by K-Mart and Target, on Bell Road, follow out towards Freeway. You will see 3 Big White Crosses on the right side of the road. That is the church where it will be held. Coming the Freeway take Bell Road ecit and the 3 Big White Crosses will be on left hand side of road. But it may not be safe to cross the road there. This is why we talked about from downtown Auburn. If you have any questions, give Mark a call or Jeffrey’s Adoptive Parents.
